All the perforating and cutting on this project are done from the front.
Step 1: Die cut the Poppet using the 4th largest die from the Nested Rectangles Picot dies leaving a wider space on the side you want to put the lace border on.
Emboss the double rectangle outlines from the corresponding Nested Picot Rectangles Groovi plate using the Groovi No.1 tool (or Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool).
Step 2: From the front, over the super foam and the Straight Pattern No.1 Groovi Border Piercing Grid, perforate the border pattern along the one side of the rectangle using the bold 1-needle perforating tool.
Step 3: Turn the parchment over to the back, using pins, line up the perforations over the corresponding Straight Basic Groovi Border Piercing Grid and tape down the parchment using Groovi tabs before removing the pins.
Step 4: Emboss dots around the perforations using the Groovi No.2 tool (or Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool).
Step 5: Picot cut between all the perforations making sure the scissors are over the waste when you cut.
Step 6: Die cut the 4th largest square from the Nested Squares Picot dies,
With the glossy brighter side facing up (this is the back of the work), emboss the double square outlines from the corresponding Nested Picot Squares Groovi plate using the Groovi No.1 tool (or Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool).
Step 7: From the front, over the super foam and the Diagonal Pattern No.1 Groovi Border Piercing Grid, perforate part of the border pattern along the one side of the square using the bold 1-needle perforating tool.
Step 8: Turn the parchment over to the back, using pins, line up the perforations over the same border on the Diagonal Pattern No.1 Groovi Border Piercing Grid and tape down the parchment using Groovi tabs before removing the pins.
Step 9: Emboss the zig zag part of the border pattern using the Groovi No.2 tool (or Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool).
Step 10: Flip the parchment, realign the perforations and emboss the zig zag pattern on the opposite side of perforations using the Groovi No.2 tool (or Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool).
Step 11: Over the Diagonal Pattern No.1 Groovi Border Piercing Grid, emboss the daisy chain border using the Groovi No.2 tool (or Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool).
Step 12: Turn the parchment to the front, line up the embossed pattern over the super foam and the corresponding Diagonal Basic Groovi Border Piercing Grid, perforate a hole between the daisies using the bold 1-needle perforating tool.
