Good Morning. How is everyone? So what have I been up to? Not much actually. Motivation is running on low battery at the moment but slowly (extremely extremely extremely slowly) I'm starting to be more creative once again, mostly with small pieces so I don't lose patience and give up completely. I was going to create a parchlet as they don't take long to do but then changed my mind and decided to create a 'clean' mixed media project using a heart shaped Mdf, handmade flowers and Groovi plates.
I wanted to create a pretty piece using the handmade flowers from ClarityStamp. They are always scattered on my table because I think so are just so pretty and they make me happy. Flowers make everything so much more better ... With a healthy helping of chocolate, cake, ice cream and popcorn too. These flowers are on 50% sale Click here and if you are a club member you get an extra 10% or 15% off.
This is how I created this piece:-

1.) Stick a piece of Rainbow River designer paper onto a heart Mdf. Distress the edge with sandpaper.
2.) On a piece of parchment, emboss the middle lace frame from the Nested Lace Fancy Swirls Border Frames plate using Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool).
3.) In the middle of the frame, emboss the heart from Tina's Heart Flowers Parchlet plate using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) for the little circles and the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) for the rest of the design.
4.) Over the Diagonal Super Fine Piercing Grid plate, emboss dots between the heart and the lace frame using Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool).
5.) Still working on the back, freehand emboss within the design.
6.) On the front perforate outside the lace border using the Pergamano bold 2-needle perforating tool.
7.) Picot cut between all the perforations using parchment scissors or Perga Cutters.
8.) Using the Nested Circles Picot Cut die, cut the 6th from outside circle on designer parchment and mount the parchment lace frame on it using brads.
9.) Emboss 3 butterflies from the Tina's Garden Symphony plate using Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool).
10.) Emboss dots in the butterfly wings using Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) over the Diagonal Super Fine Piercing Grid plate.
