Love is all we Need

Good evening everyone. Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their encouragement, support, good wishes and love over the last couple of days. It has been such a delight to see everyone's posts and creations using my designs. What I saw as simple doodles, you all created magic with. They have definitely put a smile on my face as well as made me 'cry' a few happy tears because I am very much loved by so many people. A massive thank you goes to Barbara too as without her support and beautiful blogs, I would still be in hiding and sleeping. Today is the first time in weeks that I have actually created something using some of my designs from various plates which I would like to share with you as a step by step...

Groovi Plates used:
Nested Scallops Squares Extension - GRO-WO-41168-15
Tina's Summer Layering Circles - GRO-FL-41078-03
Tina's Daisy Frame & Dandelion Tag - GRO-FL-41180-03
Tina's Funky Brickwork Layering Panels - GRO-PA-40272-03
Tina's Wave! It's Christmas - GRO-CH-41281-03
Diagonal Pattern No.2 Groovi Border Piercing Grid - GRO-GG-40355-14

All the embossing and colouring has been done on the back and all the perforating and picot cutting has been done on the front.

1.) Emboss the first set of double square outlines and scallops from the Nested Scallops Squares Extension plate using the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool).

2.) Emboss the double circle outlines and the design inside them from Tina's Summer Layering Circles plate using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) for the flower centres and the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) for the rest of the design.

3.) Emboss the tag so it is behind the round design from Tina's Daisy Frame & Dandelion Tag plate using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) for the little flower circles and the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) for the rest of the design.

4.) Emboss the panel so it is behind the round design and the tag from Tina's Funky Brickwork Layering Panels plate using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) for the circles and the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) for the rest of the design.

5.) Emboss the lace design above and below the panel from Tina's Wave! It's Christmas plate using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) for the circles and the Pergamano 1mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.1 tool) for the rest of the design.

6.) Freehand emboss inside all the little circles using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool).

7.) Using the Pergamano 1.5mm embossing ball tool (or the Groovi No.2 tool) emboss over the holes of the first two borders diagonally across the parchment from the Diagonal Pattern No.2 Groovi Border Piercing Grid plate.

8.) Colour in the various elements using Perga Liner B pencils.

9.) Blend the colouring for a smooth finish using a blending pen, blending nibs and Dorso oil.

10.) Using Perga Colour exclusive felt pens, colour in the flowers and leaves once the oil has evaporated.

11.) Perforate the sections in the borders using a bold 2-needle perforating tools and picot cut between all the perforations using parchment scissors or Perga Cutters.

12.) Layer and mount the work on Northern Lights designer paper (15cmx15cm) and white card (15.5cmx15.5cm) using brads and attach a bow above the tag using a brad. Add a bit of sparkle on the embossed circles using sticky ink, mapping pen and Perga glitter. Stick this piece on another piece of Northern Lights designer paper and folded white card (8"x8").
